The Stormproof Sweetfire Strikeable Fire Starter features an extra-strong head (stormproof) and is made from a sugarcane byproduct called bagasse. This important ingredient is already used worldwide as a sustainable biofuel. Thanks to the plant-based wax, each match burns for 7 minutes. Stormproof means that it will continue to burn even when wet, and even after being submerged in water.

If the striking surface and the box get wet, the striking surface will still work, but it must dry first so that the surface is firm again. Until then, use the spare striking surfaces in the box. If the matches are wet, dry them off briefly before use.
